Location

- See the Salisbury Water Wheel Museum near the Little Para River.
- Visit the Old Spot Inn, a pub established around 1849 and recognised today as one of the most important historic locations in what is essentially a modern suburban environment.
- Put on your walking boots and head out along the Little Para Trails as part of the Just Walk It campaign, an initiative of the National Heart Foundation and the Department of Environment, supported by the City of Salisbury.
- Take the family to the Playground in the Square, part of the Come Out Australia Festival for young people.
- Visit Salisbury’s $1 million complex at Unity Park that features a state of the art BMX track, a skate park, a dog-friendly park and a lake suitable for pedal boating and radio controlled boating.
- Do the Wodliparri Trail at Kaurna Park wetlands near Sanctuary Gardens.
The Kaurna Park, recently created from degraded farming land, is part of a unique complex.
Lying adjacent to Sanctuary Gardens, this is now a beautiful self-sustaining natural filtration and water treatment system.
A winding trail with a series of boardwalks takes visitors across a series of channels through native flora and fauna.
